1. Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Juba (South Sudan)
2. Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice & Development (Rwanda)
3. Enrolled as an advocate to the Bar in South Sudan
4. Member of the Rwanda Bar Association

Prior to joining Piyanile & Co. Advocates, Lailongo worked at South Sudan Law Society, Brac International Organization, South Sudan Associated Advocates (all in South Sudan) and Legal Aid Forum (Rwanda).

Lailongo’s areas of practice include, but is not limited to, international humanitarian law, human rights law, child law, refugee law, employment and labor law matters, commercial transactions, contract review and drafting, NGO establishment and operations law, taxation law, land law and conveyancing, alternative dispute resolution and litigation.
